What is Blockly AI?

Blockly AI is our visual no-code way to help students describe AI and machine learning workflows with blocks before they move towards deeper model concepts and Python machine learning.

How does the DofE Coding pathway map to Python Foundation levels?

Coding Bronze is similar to Python Foundation Level 1, Coding Silver is similar to Level 2, and Coding Gold is similar to Level 3. The DofE versions are adapted to be more accessible and evidence-focused for Skills section completion.

Which level should my child choose?

For AI, Bronze is best for beginners, Silver is best for students ready for mathematical machine learning foundations, and Gold is best for students ready for Python-based applied machine learning. For Coding, Bronze maps to Python Foundation Level 1, Silver to Level 2 and Gold to Level 3.

How are the DofE courses different from the main Code & AI Academy?

The DofE courses are designed to be more accessible for Duke of Edinburgh Award students. They keep the weekly structure and practical projects, but use a gentler pace and clearer evidence goals than the wider Code & AI courses.

Are the courses live online?

Yes. Families can view available live online timetables, book a trial lesson and continue to course checkout when a suitable cohort is open.
